Course review:

First things first! PAT Testing is simply a process by which portable electrical appliances are checked periodically to see if they are safe. Although it is very easy to get bogged down in the detail, you should remember that a PAT test is simply a safety check on a piece of electrical equipment. More often than not, a simple visual check is all that is needed to identify a fault – assuming of course that you know what to look for!
