Course programme

A two day course to provide the competence to manage key environmental issues. This City & Guilds recognised course has been developed to help companies to keep abreast of the ever increasing body of legislation and best practice regarding environmental issues.

The course provides a practical overview of the management of the main problem areas in terms of the legal requirements and the practical measures which should be taken on-site as a result. Candidates are given an introduction to the global environmental issues which underpin much of the legislation so that they can appreciate the impact that they have on the environment both at work and at home. In addition, consideration is given to the future direction of UK and EU environmental legislation, with a look at producer responsibility, cleaner design and the importance of supply chain management.
