This intermediate course leads to more advanced techniques and efficient workflows when using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Students will work using up-to-date software in one of our well-equipped and fully accessible studios at our Covent Garden site.

Students will learn to create and manipulate smart objects and advanced filters in Photoshop; integrate type and design using Photoshop and Illustrator, manipulate complex layouts and tables.
This course is ideal for those who have a good working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and would like to advance or review their practice. This course will enable you to use your learned skills in photography, web and print whether working as a company employee, freelance or creating your own personal projects.

Although this is a non-accredited course, students successfully completing the course will be awarded our CityLit Certificate - based on achievements of the course outcomes and attendance..

About this course

You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of up to 8 people.

-Create complex images
- Apply advanced filters on your images
- Blending images
- Transform layers with liquify
- Create complex graphics
- Create Patterns
- Apply effects to your graphics
- Create complex multipage documents
- Design tables
- Create Styles
- Add images within text and text flow
- Revise text effectively.

It would be useful to bring a memory stick (or portable hard drive – please note PC formatted hard drives can be read by Apple mac computers, but not written to). Notes are provided.

You will be taught using a range of techniques including workshops, short lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises and tutorials.

Please note the City Lit uses Apple Mac computers in Animation, Cartooning, Digital arts, Film, Graphics, Illustration, Photography and Web design.
