In this intensive course, we will cover professional and expert techniques to improve your images, create photorealistic compositions and pixel based illustrations. You will use Smart Objects from beginning to the end for a truly time saving non-destructive workflow, experiment with illustration and painting, create patterns and make creative transformations using meshes and perspective tools. You will understand how vector graphics and paths work in Photoshop. You will work through creative projects that incorporate a number of techniques such as
selecting hair, realistic shadows, pasting with perspective, colouring photographs etc.
Although this is a non-accredited course, students successfully completing the course will be awarded our City
Lit Certificate - based on achievements of the course outcomes and attendance.

This is an intermediate to advanced level and you should have some experience of Photoshop. You should be able to work with the Layers’ panel; create selections; copy and paste layers; make simple transformations such as scaling and rotating and understand the concept of a Layer Mask.This course is ideally suited as a follow on to VG510 Photoshop Intensive course stage 1.
You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of up to 8 people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
Through practical demonstrations and projects. Group discussions and feedback are encouraged. You should have some time to practice in between classes.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?You should bring a USB pen drive (minimum 16GB).
