Client & Object Handling Trainer

There is an examination at the end of this course, which candidates will have to pass to receive certification. This course is suitable for Chartered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Other candidates will be considered, based upon their qualifications and experience of client handling or manual handling. For candidates without suitable qualification/experience, additional modules will be required. Successful candidates will benefit from our aftercare programme, and there is even a freephone number for them to use and speak with one of our Chartered Physiotherapists.

The training of Trainers in client handling comes in two parts. Firstly there is a five day intensive workshop. Candidates who have successfully completed the workshop will then be required to "train out" a course, under the supervision of a PhysiCare trainer. Both parts must be completed within a 3 month period.

All our courses can be provided at the client's premises if there is a sufficient number of attendees. For client's with under 6 candidates, open courses are provided throughout the UK at our Training Centres.

Everything your new Trainers will need to provide moving and handling courses. This boxed set includes Presenter Notes, Slides, Study Manual, forms e.g. course itineraries, attendance registers etc. and 12 copies of our 30 page Client & Object Handling Booklets to cover the Trainer's first course. Client handling trainers will also require handling aids i.e. roller sheets, turntables, handblocks, transfer boards etc., all of which we can provide details and supply sources for.
