Course programme

This new and exciting course has been created to develop the skills of clinical staff to an expert level of practice. The attributes, skills and knowledge identified include an appreciation of evidence-based practice in order to evaluate the research base of healthcare. To understand how to change practice effectively and to lead that change.

The student will be expected to gain both an understanding of healthcare culture and cultural change in order to better implement improvements to care delivery.

The Masters in Clinical Care has four core modules in Evidence-based practice, Leadership in Health and Social Care, Innovation in Health and Social Care and a dissertation. Students will be able to take optional modules to develop specific areas of their own clinical focus and/or develop expertise.
