3. Entry requirements There are no formal entry qualifications but learners need to be employed for 30 or more hours per week in a suitable healthcare environment. A literacy assessment, skills scan and interview is required prior to acceptance on the programme. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method Competence and knowledge is demonstrated through the completion of a portfolio of evidence using written and oral evidence, observation in the workplace, recognition of prior learning & work products.
