The training programme also incorporates basics in: Health and Safety. -Qualities of Care Worker. -Anatomy and Psychology. -Normal's ,Temperatures,Pulse,Respirations,Blood Pressure. Practical Session. -Unconscious casualty. -Recovery position. -Neurological observation (A.V.P.U). -Cardio pulmonary resuscitation. Trainer: Trained Trainer Qualified Nurse. Suitable for: Candidates attending The Clinical Observation course will gain a basic knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the heart, respiratory system, alimentary and urinary systems. They will also be able to make a general assessment of a client, using their natural senses and take temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure readings. Recognising normal and abnormal observations/readings and the reporting /recording of assessments are an important aspect of this course. The candidate will also learn how to assess body waste and prevent cross infection.
