This course can also be delivered at your premises, please call for details. Cancellation Policy If you need to cancel a course within two working weeks of the course date, the full fee will be charged. For cancellations between two and four working weeks of the course date, a 75% fee will be charged. Substitute delegates can be found at anytime to avoid the charge. For cancellations over four working weeks of the course date, there is no charge. In the case of a business exclusive the fee relates to the whole charge for the day.

Course programme
The role of a manager is to achieve results through the efforts of other people. The responsibility of managing resources (people, equipment, budgets etc.) lies with the manager or team leader. Improving performance and thus productivity requires a set of skills. On of the ways to achieve this is by coaching. Learning proven and effective models of the coaching process allows the manager to follow a structured approach to developing their staff.
Objectives of the Course
This course will enable delegates to develop the skills necessary to effectively coach their staff to reach their maximum potential, thereby improving productivity, team cohesiveness, team and individual morale. Delegates will assess current techniques and develop knowledge on managing behaviour to access the potential to build success in personal develop and therefore organisational success.
By the end of the course delegates will be able to: •Develop a successful strategy of coaching for their staff
•Understand the six steps of coaching
•Identify where the behaviour of others can be improved through coaching
•Investigate barriers to self-esteem and how to overcome them using a structured approach
•Use goal setting effectively and give meaningful feedback
