What I would highlight:
I started the course as an ex-finance professional with no experience of cutting hair, and finished a confident and competent barber. So confident, I now run my own shop in Ipswich (www.hugosbarbershop.co.uk). Sid is a seriously amazing tutor - our group had a mix of professionals and beginners and everyone walked away feeling ready to cut hair! I would 100% recommend this course to anyone looking to get into barbering. The course may seen short, but the hours are long and the equivalent of a 6 week course, but taught by a truly inspirational and professional barber. Please please, if you're thinking about doing this course, get on the phone and do it. It's changed my life, and it will change yours too.

What I would highlight:
Im back for another course this was a little diffrent for me having not done boy's hair before, well saying that I had cut my little boys hair when he was 2 year of age and since then i did not have the confidence to touch boys hair again because it all went horribly wrong. sid has worked his majic again by giving us the know how and the right info and tecniqe to do job and do a dam good one to that. Having got sine the course I have done about 10 family member hair from the young to the old and all very very happy with the hair cut I gave them they could not belive that in just a short time I my self had learnt all what I used on them.
The qulity of the course was secound to none having the best tutor to teach us was a the icing on the cake. who, well...... Sid thats who. Having no experience in this feild at all I was thinking no I can not do all this what Sid was was telling us upon arriving at the Cobra Hair Academy.Having been on an other course at Cobra Hair Academy well just that week I was proven wrong again. The venue, yes, was like you would find in most salons having your space and seeing how you need to work with other students in the same room as your self and knowing wher to stand when giving the servise to your client hence having the live models.

Hi Everybody
i just finished attending the 5 days ladies cutting course. I live in the Netherlands, but went all the way to Nottingham, United Kingdom, to attend this course. It´s been the best experience ever. I learned sooo much, after finishing the course, i can cut any ladieshaircut, whatever the client wants, I can do it for her. The course is really intense, amd the teacher will push you to your limits. You will feel tired and sometimes you will wonder whether you will be able to learn everyting in just 5 days. But believe me, you will, and you will feel so proud of yourself and ready to start your career. I enjoyed the course so much that i signed up with the barber course and wet shaving course as well. I higly recommand the cobra hair academy to anyone who is serious about starting a career as a hairdresser/barber. If you are living abroad just like me, and you are wondering whether it´s worth the trip, believe me it is. Thank you cobra hair academy for teaching me so many skills looking forward to be back again in august!

What I would highlight:
I don't normally put comments on - But this course has to be the exception to the rule, it is taught in a in way that inspires you to follow your dreams, whatever level you are at - Sid is highly professional and considerate to the students who lack confidence. What I would highlight:
The standard of the training and the course materials are to such a high standard , the drive Sid has to ensure you all pass to a high standard of haircutting.
The classroom area is very relaxed people for different age groups and backgrounds everyone is at a different level,however by the end of the week you will all be able to cut hair with confidence.

After Completing a Barbering course under Sid's instruction ,i knew the next course would be to the same high standard. Small groups Max 6 therefore you are able to get one to one help from Sid if you are finding things hard. By day 4 you'll be cutting live Models what a Buzz seeing the results of your first haircut and the smile on the models face's ,you'll be counting the hours knowing day 5 brings you two more live models.

What I would highlight:
In March 2011 i completed a Barbering course at Cobra Hair Academy under the instruction of Sid ,having had no experience within the Hair industry i came away with the confidence at the end of 5 days to cut hair. Two months on i enrolled on the Ladies Cutting Course this took me out of my comfort zone as ,but Sid has a the skills to help you over come this.

If you want gain high class skills taught to a very high standard then enroll with Sid at Cobra Hair Academy you will not be disappointed and shocked at what you can learn in such a short time.

Sid without your help and guidance I would not be where I am today, a fully fledged Male grooming salon owner, with your amazing skills, teaching and passion for hair I have achieved what I thought was impossible. People say how can you cut hair in 5 Days ? Well I did an intensive driving course in five days and past so why not hair !! I also show them and they are more than amazed, I am not only a Barber now I am one of the best in my area........ or so they say !! Sid your Amazing Danny your Great and Emma your the Best.

What I would highlight:
I would say it's all down to the tutor and his knowledge of the subject and how to apply and not to. From choosing the right colour for your clients and then appliying it to keeping there health top priority from the start to finish and then seeing the final result and seeing your client beeming ear to ear with joy and the satisfaction you get from doing the task well after all the client is your top priority.Thank you Sid.
I would recomend it again and again. Again top standerds from Hygiene to applaying the product to the clients and from working under prassure from the time you mix it to applying the colour and then to developing it and to the final result.it's all down to the right product info and the kwoledge from my tutor Sid. And from the Simple to the Extravagance from using one to using 5 to 7 colouring at the same time he made it all seem really easy and explained it really well.

What I would highlight:
The ladies haircutting course was fantastic. I didnt think that in 5 days I could learn soo much. The course was very intensive and very educational, throughout the 5 days Health and Safety was always 1st and by the end it is instilled in you. Sid, the tutor was Brilliant. If I had to ask a question I didnt feel uncomfortable in asking. Sid was there every step of the way. For anyone who is wanting to go on this course, pls dont delay as you will not be disappointed. You have to be determined and passionate, Sid gives you the perfect tools and education to kick start a wonderful career in hairdressing. I feel 100% confident in cutting hair and I get so excited. I had no experience prior to this course, I never thought I could but Sid proved me wrong!!! Thank You Sid and Danny. x

number it's like you get one to one from your tutor. I can't prais the
Academy enough. Especially the legend Sid. He is an amazing tutor. He

what he teach's.Oh & when they told me that course is going to be
Intense, believe me they are NOT Kidding you.There hygeine level is
above the rest, he has imbeded the right way's of working in a salon be
it your own or not. r I know it's going to be with me for the rest of my

end of the 5 day hair cutting course, it's was like having 5 years of
learning material in a 5 day's course. I was a complete beginne rwhen I
came t o cobra Hair Academy. Now thatI have completed the 5 day lady's
hair cutting course, I've come home and done my both my girl's hair, who
The vast amount of knowledge you learn and take away with you from the 5 day's hair cutting course was amazing. You now know what the the hair dresser is doing with out them opening there mouth,and it is not at an extortionate rates that you have to re-morgege your house. I don't think you can get that amount of experties as you get at Cobra Hair Academy. All the team members are really easy to talk to and very proffetional. And at the same time if you are strugling Sid the tutor will explane it in a diffrent way untill you grasp it, any where else you prob's will not get.

What I would highlight:
After attending the Mens barbering course at cobra academy , i can honestly say hand on heart what an amazing expereince ive had! I arrived at cobra with little confidence , and felt quite nervous cutting clients hair , but by day 4/5 my confience was out of the window !!
Sid is an amazing tutor , he makes you feel so relaxed and at ease with everything. The team at cobra are fab ! There is a mixture of students , with different levels, but by day 5 you are all on the same level. This course has given me an amazing skill for life , and from bottom of my heart sid thank you ! you have changed my life as well as my sons life, you are a true insperation. I have gained a new skill for life , as well as amazing friends !
If you are wanting to go onto this course , you will NOT be disapointed ,!!

What I would highlight:
Having attended the Ladies Contemporary Cutting course at Cobra approximately 18 months ago, my expectations of the Barbering course were high. Once again I wasn't, disappointed, as a matter of fact I was totally blown away by every aspect of the course.
Sid delivers information in a manner that caters for all levels of ability, he does this through a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the industry that is truly inspirational, he is an ambassador to the art of hairdressing.
As a solon owner it is so important that every penny spent from the business, will in some way, add value. With my newly acquired skills I can assure you that it will pay dividends in the future.

What I would highlight:
Very professional got so much more from the course than i expected in 5days
Small group of students from different walks of life and different levels with the Hair/Barbering sector yet Sid make sure you all feel on the same level.
All materials are of high quality no cutting corners within the Cobra you may see cheaper courses online but you pay for it long term.
So pay a little more and get it right from the start which will save you money in the long run.
Theres no hard sell from any of the Cobra team i.e to take up other courses or to buy Materials,just friendly helpful advise.
Im a former Builder/Retained fireman currently repair Ambulances so you see this course is suited to all.
Sid's training methods are 5 star he takes the training very serious wanting you to gain the best skills need to start you off with your new Career choice. He has a passion for Hair it not just about getting Students on board to boost his bank balance. He wants all his students to succeed in there new career . Sid has the skills/experience to pass onto people with little or no Knowledge of haircutting.

Only thing i believe would have been nice is for all the students to have had some sort of Cobra shirts each for the course with the Cobra details on.

What I would highlight:
What a great course SID makes the training so relaxed at your own pace but getting you up to speed with the rest of the class within hrs.
A mixture of students some with experience and other with none at all by the end of the 5days you will be at the same level as we all have strengths & weaknesses everyone gains new skills no matter what level you start at.
This course gains you a skill for life but also help build your confidence within yourself if you had none at the start of the course or your all ready a confident person it will go from strength to strength.
What i gain from the course a skill for life i can only but get better at to build a future with also gained some new friends HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Will be looking into other course in the future with COBRA.
