Overview of the course:

A practical course - 2 days. Over the two days you will learn about the grave digging process from start to finish, including aftercare of the grave. Day one will be in the classroom learning about all of the regulations attached to this subject, days 2 will be the manually digging of a grave.

3. Pre Excavation preparation

4. Know the types of shoring

5. Preparation for internment

6. State and undertake the duties of the grave digger on the day of the funeral

7. Back filling and removal of shoring and state procedures for aftercare of graves

8. State the Health & Safety implications involved in the exhumation of graves
