The Commercial / Industrial Electrical Appreciation course has been designed to raise awareness, understanding and skills for mechanical engineers and allied trades when working on equipment where there is a requirement to disconnect and reconnect electrical supply and to assess their ability to competently work with electrical services and components. Suitable for: Mechanical engineers looking to cross-skill/up-skill to electrical maintenance engineering. Organisations looking to multi-skill their workforces. Individuals currently undertaking an NVQ and require the underpinning knowledge of industrial/commercial electrical maintenance practices.

Commercial / Industrial Electrical Appreciation
Each candidate to attend a ten day electrical appreciation training course. An end of course assessment will be carried out to ascertain their appreciation and understanding of the subjects. Should any candidate not reach an acceptable standard then retraining on specific issues will be carried out until attainment of the standard is achieved.
