Our Community Mental Health Practice course is ideal for anyone wanting to work in the Health, Social Care or Counselling sector or dealing with the mentally ill, and is also ideal for Probation Officers, Police and Prison Officers – indeed anybody who has a desire to impact on, or learn more about helping, friends, relatives, or others in their care presenting with a variety of mental health conditions or disorders. If you are already working in the sector, the course can be included in your Continuing Professional Development Programme.
Mental health problems range from the worries we all experience as part of everyday life to serious long-term conditions. The majority of people who experience mental health problems can get over them or learn to live with them, especially if they get help early on.
