You’ll also learn about animal behaviour. Why study this course?This courseincludes a 125-hour work placement. This means that you get to put your learning into practice in a real animal care facility of your choosing.This companion animals course combines two qualifications, the ACM20110 Certificate II in Animal Studies and the ACM30410 Certificate III in Companion Studies. This means that you bundle your learning, and graduate with two formal qualifications – giving you an edge when you come to find work in the competitive animal care job market.If you are looking to break into vet nursing or management roles within a pet store or animal shelter, this qualification may open the doors to more advanced study, including the ACM40310 Certificate IV in Companion Animals and the ACM40412 Certificate IV in Vet Nursing.
