Martin Williams
Principal
Martin graduated with distinction from the UK's leading photography college in 1981, and gained his Associateship of the British Institute of Professional Photography in 1983. After working for some years as staff photographer for Rolls Royce and Bentley he lectured in photography to full time professional photography students as well as teaching evening and day classes. Photographic Technique was established on the edge of The Cairngorm National Park, close to Aboyne, Banchory & Ballater by Martin to train photographers of all levels, from beginner to professional.
Course programme
Covers the fundamental of composition which are of benefit to photographers of all levels of current photographic skill. This essential module is both a starting point for beginners and a back to basics launch pad for experts.
The Composition Module enables a clear understanding of composition which will empower the photographer in their future work. Minimum duration is 1 day, but the photographer may book as many days as they wish in order to undertake practical composition project work with sole use of our studio and 1:1 tuition. Colour composition is not included in this module, and is run as a seperate training module. (Completion of this "Composition Module" is recommended prior to undertaking the "Colour Composition" Module)
