This course teaches you the basic details of PC hardware operation and assembly. It also covers operating installation and maintenance. Suitable for: Those new to IT who want a grounding in basic computer hardware and operating systems. The level of detail serves as an excellent grounding for those wishing to move on to higher IT qialifications such as Microsoft MCSA or MCSE.

CertificationAchieving the CompTIA® A+ certification involves passing two exams.
The first of these is CompTIA® A+ Essentials and is a mandatory step for anyone wishing to gain this accreditation. The Essentials exam validates the basic skills needed by any entry level service technician regardless of job environment.
The second exam is the CompTIA® A+ 220-602 which is targeted for individuals intending to work in a mobile or corporate technical environment.
Successful completion of both of these examinations will grant the learner CompTIA® A+ Certified status.
Study ModulesWe provide a combination of Seetec authored and carefully selected study modules validated by our qualified tutors that cover all elements of the CompTIA® A+ programme. The study modules contain detailed theory elements to provide underpinning knowledge and understating combined with practical exercises that are essential for developing that all important hands-on experience required to become a competent IT professional.
Virtual Training CentreWe have our own learning and management system called the Virtual Training Centre or VTC which comprises an on-line learning system that delivers interactive learning resources via any Internet connection. From here students can access elements of their training to support and reinforce the topics covered in the study books. The areas available are: -

We offer full support for all programme routes comprising e-mail support to a tutor with a maximum 3 day response to all learning queries, tutor initiated telephone support if query response requires it and VTC help elements of forum, chat room and FAQs.

Exam FeesExams are optional on most programme routes. Check with your selection advisor for clarification and details of the optional 'Exam Pack' if required.
In-centre AttendanceIn centre attendance is available on this route for students in the locale of the head office.
