The course is designed for the diagnostic technician who uses a 'big box' engine analyzer in their day to day fault diagnosis. As with the hand held course, topics covered include familiarisation of primary and secondary ignition tests, use of oscilloscopes in the diagnosis of ignition and fuel system faults, and fault code retrieval. It also covers the tests that 'big box' analysers are.
