Course programme

At level 4, you will begin to acquire the technical and academic skills that will set you up for further study and employment. In addition to being introduced to the theories that underpin the development of computer information systems and integrated applications, you will be technically trained in order to establish a balanced grounding for further study. During level 5, your studies will be focused on analysing and designing information systems, as well as implementing solutions, using problem-solving techniques.You will also participate in a group project, in order to attain skills in project management, organisation and time-keeping, which will be essential for your final level of study. Upon reaching level 6, you will develop the skills you have already acquired to an advanced level, whilst critically analysing your work through research. You will also consider the role of information systems in businesses and employability skills. The final level of the course culminates in the production of a Final Year Project, which will be a product of your individual technical and academic skills.
