Do you want to be a: Computer/Network Technician, Network Administrator, Help-Desk Support Officer? The main aim of the course is to lead to employment in a technical support/networking capacity where there is a massive shortage of skilled personnel and excellent employment opportunities. The HND award will also allow Progression into IT and Networking courses, particularly at Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of the West of Scotland respectively. The course provides the opportunity for candidates to study towards the Microsoft MCSA and CISCO CCNA Vendor Qualifications respectively. The course has been recently redesigned to ensure relevance to the needs of todays employers.

One Higher Grade pass (A-C) and 3 Standard Grade passes (1-3) to include evidence of numeracy and communication skills, OR appropriate SQA NC modules or NQ units. Candidates over 21 may be accepted with lower qualifications, depending on work experience.
