This two-day CPD course will improve your theoretical and practical understanding of conscious sedation.
The course aims to:
consolidate and improve your knowledge in conscious sedation in dentistry
provide basic understanding of: anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, patient assessment, sedation equipment and management of complications
provide a practical session of IV canulation and inhalation sedation techniques

About this course

It's for qualified dental nurses who are registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
This course may be of special interest to dental nurses who assist in surgery using conscious sedation or who wish to pursue a qualification in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry.

You'll gain 13 hours of verifiable CPD, plus a certificate of attendance.
