Course programme

NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety & Health

Outline: A highly recommended entry level course to the National Diploma qualification. The National Certificate in Construction syllabus currently consists of nineteen topics of learning in preparation for assessment.

Assessment is currently by two written examinations (Unit NGC1: Management of Health & Safety and Unit NCC1: Managing and controlling hazards in construction activities) and a construction workplace-based practical assignment.

Our comprehensive development programme includes: mock assessments (both written and practical) and provision of a copy of The RMS NEBOSH Study Book for this course. As with the General Certificate, delegates will find this course to be highly participative using the same diversity of learning methods included guided study, group work, overnight tasks and work between the weeks. Funding may be available to CITB members.

Optional Exam Tutorial: (Separate fee). Tutoring on specific syllabus areas and utilising a revision checklist to identify areas of concern. Delegate exam technique developed via practice questions / tutor feedback on answers. Proven to be an invaluable contribution to a delegate's personal training programme, as both confidence and competence are gained through practice, which enables a greater prospect for success at examination.

Duration:

  • Full Course: 13 days study period + Optional 2 day exam tutorial + Examinations.
  • Unit NCC1: 8 days study period + Optional 1 day exam tutorial + Examinations.
