This course coincides with the wave of new films released for the awards season. Watch, discuss and debate the artistry behind current films being released, talked about and enjoyed. We will discuss and compile our own top ten best films list as a guide to the current state of the contemporary cinema. This is a forum, a centre for social networking, news, and conversation — plus wonderful films to watch and enjoy.

About this course

compile a list of the Best Films of the Year after informed discussion and debate
research the work of the directors of these films for shared themes and motifs
discuss and analyse the current state of the cinema.
