Programme Outline

This programme will start with an understanding of basic occupational health and then cover:-

The course content will be continually revised to take into account changes in legislation)

  • An overview of Occupational Health Practice
  • Detailed discussion of COSHH Regulations and associated Approved Codes of Practice
  • An outline of exposure standards including EH40 with reference to and interpretation of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Control strategies and the hierarchy of prevention and protection for hazardous substances
  • An overview of workplace monitoring techniques including personal and static monitoring
  • Development of skills in carrying out a COSHH Assessment

Certification:
On completion of the course a Woodland Grange certificate will be issued.

Payment options: - Residential: £375 - Non-residential: £280 Note: - Non-residential course fees cover lunch, refreshments and all training materials. - Residential fees also include evening meal, bed and breakfast from dinner the day prior to the date of the course until lunch on the last day of the course. - Full details are provided in the course joining instructions.
