The course of Counseling and Psychotherapy - Level 4 offered by Emagister in its catalog, will help participants to receive a deep understanding of what is expected of a Counselor. You can use your new developed skills to help people who need it. They could be people at work, they could be close members of their family or lifelong friends.
The Counseling and Psychotherapy course is comprehensive and covers a wide variety of topics, such as types of counseling, grief, crisis mediation, auditory skills, stress problems, eating disorders, depression, alcohol, drug and substance abuse and much plus. You will have access to a tutor by mail or email. In addition, you will be provided with a complete Study Guide that will help you during the course of the study and evaluation.
Upon successful completion of this theoretical course, you are recommended to obtain the most practical experience possible with appropriate organizations such as Alcohol Concern, The Samaritans, Child Line or one of the many organizations that are seeking suitable volunteers.

About this course
This is a Level Four course and as such will require students to have a good level of literacy and general education at least up to GCSE C grade. In other respects the home study courses are open to any one with a genuine and positive attitude to the subject, and no prior knowledge is needed.
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

Assessment:
