MBACP, MAPT, MSc, MPhil, Dip Couns, Adv Dip Ther, Cert Sup, Cert EMDR Rebecca works within a pluralistic model as a practitioner and has qualifications in Gestalt, person centred and CBT. Rebecca is an experienced lecturer in counselling and psychotherapy.
Course programme
Course review:
With 1 study day per week, taught over 12 weeks, this course is for experienced counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists currently working within counselling who wish to learn the skills of supervision in order to supervise counsellors working at service levels A to B2.
Each session runs for 7 hours and has a half hour tutorial slot either before or after the taught session.
Taught hours total 91 with 6 hours of tutorials. In additon to this, up to 2 hours of self study per week is recommended some of which can be via the virtual learning environment.
Assessment will be both internal by the course tutor and extenal by the Awarding Body. Assessment will be in the form of journal work, written assignments, observation sessions, recorded assignment and a case study.
