How will I be assessed?Students will be assessed through a variety of assignments, presentations, reports, and a further filmed assessment of counselling skills before they can go on placements
What may it lead to?You can progress into Higher Education, into employment or continue in a specialised field of counselling (such as bereavement, addiction, or working with children)
Entry RequirementsStudents must have completed the Level 2 and 3 courses (or equivalent) in Counselling, and must be (ideally) 21 or above Getting a place on the course is subject to an interview Applicants for the Diploma may be required to apply and pay for a CRB check
Additional Information & Other CostsStudents will be required to complete a work placement where they must complete a minimum of in 100 hours of supervised counselling; details will be discussed at interview Students will also be required to privately visit with a counsellor for a minimum of 40 sessions over the course Students will also be expected to attend six mandatory Saturday sessions throughout each year of the course
