The Certificate in Counselling is designed to give students an introduction into counselling theory, ethics, skills and personal development. This course is designed to enable students to use counselling skills effectively within an existing role, for example, working as a youth worker, health and care worker, social worker or voluntary helper.
The Certificate in Counselling does not permit students to practise as a counsellor upon completion but will provide an excellent basis for further training in counselling skills, such as our Professional Diploma and Masters programmes in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
