BTEC LEVEL 4 PROFESSIONAL AWARD IN COVERT SEARCH TECHNIQUES

Summary

This Award provides law enforcement and government agencies with the skills and techniques to carry out covert searches in all environments. The 5-day course (3 credits) was developed by a joint law enforcement and military working group, and will be tailored to each client’s precise requirements by the training team.

Delivery and assessment

The Award is delivered through blended learning with emphasis on the practical application of covert search skills within the public domain. Delegates are provided with pre-course reading material, prior to formal classroom teaching on theory and technique. Realistic team exercises are followed by full debriefs, to allow delegates to fully absorb learning. The course is delivered under Edexcel terms and conditions, with continual assessment and a full quality assurance
programme.

Our trainers also meet the standards set by Skills for Justice, the dedicated Sector Skills Council and Standards Setting Body for the UK’s Justice sector. All are highly experienced, and are current trainers for the UK government’s law enforcement bodies.

Certification

Successful learners receive a BTEC Professional Award at Level 4 which can count towards a BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma in Covert Surveillance.
