The course will focus on creating an introduction for yourself and/or your business. We discuss the ingredients for a good pitch and how to conveying what you do (or what your business does) in a short, succinct, successful verbal introduction. You will learn how to adjust your pitch to suit your audience. These skills will be useful when networking, introducing your business to potential customer or gaining attention of investors.

Components of a good business introduction
How to structure a pitch to focus on the customer’s needs
What to include and omit when introducing yourself/your business.
Part of the course will be delivered in lecture, offering a theoretical background to the elevator pitch. We will look at case studies and examples of good (and bad) pitches and work in groups on exercises to help write content. Then, we focus on the individual’s business by creating pitch that can be learned and used regularly.
