2. Course description Having completed the Creative Photography and Portfolio Development course, this course aims to move the student forward in their development as a photographer towards a recognised qualification. Using assessment criteria similar to that used by the Royal Photographic Society as a basis, this course will help the photographer understand what standards and competences are required by a professional organisation. Visits to the RPS to view a distinctions assessment panel at work and perhaps attend a distinctions advisory day to receive informed advice from RPS panel members are built into this course (additional costs involved). The course will culminate in an end of year show and private view at a local venue.
