Level One - Two day Workshop

Introductory foundation course for beginners and other photographers wishing to move into wedding photography

You will need to have a Digital SLR, such as a Canon, Nikon, Sony, with exchangeable lenses, and a flash gun - if you haven't you can borrow one of our camera kits on the course at no charge

Day One - Covers essential people and camera skills required to shoot weddings. After lunch enjoy a live shoot with a bride to put it into practice - bridal prep and location shoot

• Learn the people skills and camera skills expected of a wedding photographer
• Develop your technique for shooting weddings on digital using our TEN TOP TIPS
• Includes Composition, Camera modes, Low light techniques for working in churches, understanding the Histogram, and using flash indoors, and outdoors
• See the world MASTERS at work to gain an insight into the new world of contemporary wedding photography and experience new style skills in capturing images that provoke emotion
• After lunch enjoy a one-on-one session to photograph a model in bridal attire,
• plus an outdoor location shoot (subject to weather conditions)
• Overnight download and review your images, ready for constructive feedback the next day

Day Two - The Digital Studio - we reveal all using our Post Production Workflow

• Student image review session to take a look at your results and to gain valuable insight and direction to improve your compositions to take you to the next level
• See our incredible post production workflow we use in our digital studio using Adobe Photoshop CS developed for us by Guy Gowan.
• Learn to batch process your wedding images and cut your processing times by 80%
• Enhance your studio workflow using one tool to create PDFs, watermark files, email files, and upload web pages for the bride and groom
• Find out how we produce stunning black and white prints using professional conversions in CS
• Move your imaging to the next level by professionally retouching and glamourising skin quickly and consistently in the digital studio.
• The final stage - show it all off using the very latest multi-media software to output your imaging to High Definition TV, DVD, PC, the web, and gadgets such the IPhone and Blackberry mobile phones
