This five week course will explore nature and environmental photography. Teaching, discussions and practical exercises will take place in the classroom and in the field. The work of published photographers and artists will be examined and critiqued to help inform students own work. Students will be supported in a group and on a personal level to create images with impact, whilst developing their own visual style and a personal project.
This is a theoretical and practical course. Knowledge of your own camera functions is required, but this course will help you to use them more effectively, developing your understanding of different depths of field, the use of natural light and composition to help you develop a story within your images.
Please note that no editing will be taught on this course although you will be required to print off images between lessons.
