Topics covered

You will undertake a variety of short studio projects designed to challenge and enable you to explore and develop your ideas on paper.

You will alternate sessions working on paper with sessions developing ideas on fabric using the heat press.

You’ll refine and perfect your designs and be encouraged to push your work further.

Whilst you will receive guidance from your tutor, you are also expected to engage in self-directed study both in and outside the class.

The course attracts students with different background and peer learning is a distinctive feature.

Personal advice and guidance will be given depending on your goals.

Entry requirements

This is not a beginner’s course. You should have completed our Drawing and Painting for Textiles short course before trying this one. Alternatively, you could have acquired previous knowledge through either a similar course or work experience
