Course programme

Each workshop will deal with a different theme or objective, and we will be concentrating on - Characterisation and Narrative Voice Recreation of Plot Memories and Childhood The Impact of Sound and Colour We will also be looking at the impact of poetry on literature, and how narrative through poetry can sometimes produce a greater emphasis – some learners may find they are more inclined to producing poetical text rather than prose. Learners will look at a variety of published works as examples of the above, and work towards creating their own pieces of work. This may be a re-creation of earlier work, or work produced within the workshops. Work will be produced in class and homework set will be discussed at the next session. This will help with the development of your writing.
