English Requirements For those students whose first language is not English, the following qualification is also required:IELTS: 7.0Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.

Content outline
This module will include on-line discussions as well as face-to-face discussions and tutorials on a range of topics including:
- The concept of critical thinking
- The role of critical thinking in eye care
- Links between critical thinking, evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making in ophthalmic practice
- Strategies for critical thinking
- Barriers to critical thinking, and overcoming these in practice
