  • I truly enjoyed my course at Chameleon School of Construction. Chameleon is such a brilliant place to learn! The staff and teachers are amazing and have such a vast knowledge of the course's they teach. Before coming to this centre I had previously attended another organisation who teach similar course's. looking back now it's shocking, the lack of subject knowledge and organisation I experienced there, compared to the hands on involvement I received from the Staff at Chameleon. Using the skills I've learned at Chameleon I have now started my own business. I couldn't recommend Chameleon more.

About this course

As of July 2014 the green card changed to make sure everyone who is working on site understand what they are doing and working to Health and Safety standards. So those on site working as an Operative will need a Site Safety Plus or a Level 1 Qualification in Health and Safety in Construction.

For those who are wanting to work on site without qualifications needing a green Operative CSCS Card.

Unemployed applicants only

You will obtain a Level 1 Health and Safety Qualification in Construction.

This course involved classroom learning as well as practical elements in the workshop

You can take both the test and training at our small friendly training centre based in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire.We are the local training and testing centre based in Swadlincote offering friendly informal training whilst helping you feel more relaxed and confident.

Our tutors are passionate about Health and Safety and will help to give you the knowledge to feel much more confident before sitting the test.

Health and Safety is continually changing so you can be sure that you are up to date with the type of questions that are likely to be asked during the test.
