Attendees who successfully undertake the online test will receive a print out showing they have passed. This can then be used to apply for the CSCS card relevant to their work experience/skill level. Suitable for: Most contractors and clients now demand proof of competence, before allowing workers onto their sites, which is provided by a CSCS card. CSCS cards list the holder's qualifications and are valid for three years holding a CSCS Card shows they have health and safety awareness. Please be aware that an additional cost is payable to CSCS for the card. Not having a CSCS card may affect your ability to work on certain sites.

About this course

There are no specific entry requirements however knowledge of health and safety, especially in the construction industry, is an advantage. As the test is online, a good level of literacy is beneficial – a voiceover through headphones is available on request.

Course programme

We offer 2 hours practice on the CSCS test software, followed by the on-line test.

The practice session allows delegates to generate random tests from the bank of questions. Should a delegate get any answers wrong during a practice test, these can be reviewed, so the delegate can find out the correct answer that should have been given.

Practice tests can also be generated in specific areas of construction health & safety. One of our construction tutors supervises the session, to offer information, advice and guidance. Delegates can optionally book a test only for £25.
