Content
You will develop your practical skills and knowledge through a range of units including handling and storing resources, working relationships, providing working platforms, preparing and using portable power tools, maintaining and using hand tools and basic practical skills in carpentry. Key Skills will form part of your final qualifications.

Assessment
This course will prepare you for either entry into employment as a work based learner in carpentry and joinery or further study at Level 2.

Progression
Once completed the candidate can progress to the Intermediate Construction Award (ICA) in Wood Occupations.
