CSkills Awards Level 3 Diploma in Painting and Decorating (QCF)

There are no formal exams for this qualification. The course is assessed through a series of competence based assessments within a simulated construction environment within the College.

The Level 3 Diploma in Painting and Decorating has been developed for delivery in a training environment. It has been designed to prepare learners to work at an advanced level in the Painting and Decorating industry, enabling them to qualify as team leaders and managers within the construction industry. It can be delivered in conjunction with the NVQ Level 3 Competence based qualification. Learners will benefit from tutors with industrial expertise and state of the art facilities.

Achievement of this qualification enhances employment opportunities within a supervisory role as learners are demonstrating occupational competence at this level. It provides opportunities to progress to further qualifications and training at Level 4 or above such as: Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision or a Foundation Degree.
