CULTURAL AND MATERIAL MAKING WORKSHOP
This workshop explores the areas of Biology, Geography, History, and Science for the nursery age child. It discusses the rationale for introducing these subjects to young children. Students will also have the opportunity to make learning materials for this area of the Montessori early years curriculum. In London , UK , a visit to the Natural History Museum is usually a part of this workshop.

Strongly recommended for Early Childhood students and practising teachers.

Number of contact hours: 30 over 6 days. Check times with your chosen centre. Students have the opportunity to accrue up to a maximum of 15 hours extra by practising with the Montessori materials or making materials for a maximum of 3 hours per day, outside of lecturing hours.
