Course programme

The class begins with a short overview of cupcake making and the class covers the following areas:

ð the secrets behind baking perfect cupcakes (from choosing and filling cupcake cases perfectly to creating the best shape for piping)

ð An overview of edible flower making

ð How to create simple butterflies, roses and blossoms easily

ð Making delicious buttercream

ð Demonstration of making and colouring poured fondant icing

ð Piping buttercream in various different pretty designs on cupcakes

ð Decorating cupcakes with flowers made earlier as well as a host of other embellishments from dragees to edible glitter.

You will take home the cupcakes that you will have decorated as well as free course material covering techniques and recipes.

This is a hands-on class involving demonstrations and plenty of time for you to practise the techniques for yourself.

Appropriate for individuals or groups of friends, this class can take place at a venue local to you, in central Farnham in Surrey, or in the comfort of your own home.

All ingredients and equipment for the day will be provided. You do not need to bring anything with you!
