Lena Santana is a renowned ethical fashion designer and has been teaching fashion for the last five years She was born in Salvador (Brazil), studied fashion design in London and lived in Rio de Janeiro and this cosmopolitan background is reflected in her designs and collection.

Course programme

Come and learn how to adapt and transform old pieces of material into new and exciting garments. This course concentrates on basic sewing techniques such as measuring, pattern cutting, using zips and making hems. On the second day you will have the opportunity to use what you have learnt and customise an old garment.

All materials are provided and there will be refreshments available throughout.

Please note: Students will be required to bring an item of clothing to customise.
