ayne Emerson as featured on Kirsties handmade Britain, on channel 4, will be running a Customising Clothing Workshop. Bring in a bag of clothes that you don’t wear any more and get expert advise and tips on how to reinvent them. Jayne Emerson, author of New from Old will show you how to spruce up your wardrobe using trims, basic embroidery techniques and needle felting. There will also be advice on dying garments, ideas for using the garments’ fabric and hints on creative dressmaking! Basic machine knowledge required - completion of one of our Beginners Classes is all you need to prepare for this class. You will need to bring your sewing machine to this class

The workshop costs £46 for a Saturday session, bring your lunch and we will provide refreshments. This workshop will take place at the Jubilee neighbourhood centre, York road, Tewkesbury, GL20 5HT (next door to Queen Margaret’s school)
