CYQ Level 2 Group Indoor Cycling

The Central YMCA Level 2 Group Indoor Cycling Instructor qualification is most suited to fitness instructors and aspiring fitness instructors wanting to teach studio cycling. This qualificaton includes all of the information, skills and techniques required to safely plan and teach group indor cycling to clients of varied fitness levels.

Prior to attending your course you will need to complete a small range of multiple choice assessments in our online learning area.

During the course you will be taught how to safely and effectively plan Indoor Cycling lessons- you will then be required to complete a lesson plan and submit this within 14 days of your training course. Finally you will be required to teach a practical Group Indoor Cycling Session which will last approximately 45 minutes. This assessment is observed directly by one of our assessors assessor and will take place on the last day of the training course. Following this assessment you will be required to complete a written evaluation of your performance identifying your strengths and areas for improvement.
