Course programme

Year 1

You will be required to show your competence within the gas assessment area of gas powered ducted air heaters. Your assessment will be within the Leicester College bespoke gas assessment centre where you will demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of gas powered ducted air heaters in order to be certificated for the element DAH 1.


You will need to be employed/self employed and demonstrate previous CCN1 certification and element certification which is either currently active or less than 12 months expired.

Additional information

You will be assessed against national recognised standards in a controlled environment. You will be allocated your own assessment bay and all reading material required for your assessment. The reading material will predominantly be British Standards. These documents will support you in enabling you to reference them whilst your assessor oversees your core gas safety assessment.
