Dance - FdA

The course explores the exciting, innovative theory and practice of fusion in the selected dance genres. Studying at the City and Islington College, you will benefit from state-of-the-art facilities, including fully equipped studios and a 100-seat theatre.

You will enjoy a range of unique opportunities such as the opportunity to audition for Connectingvibes, the performance company based at City and Islington College and run in partnership with IRIE! dance theatre. There are also other opportunities to take part in key industry events such as the Re: Generations International Dance Conference hosted by IRIE! dance theatre, London Metropolitan University and ADAD.

If you are a dancer or performer with some understanding of dance or performance training and/or experience in the field, this course is ideal. You may already be working in the industry and want to ground your skills with a formal qualification.

This course is delivered in partnership between City and Islington College and London Metropolitan University in partnership with IRIE! dance theatre. You will benefit from the presence of International visitors including L’Antoinette Stines from Jamaica and Thomas Presto from Norway.
