Engineering and Manufacturing Degrees in the Italy

I was part of the 3rd edition of the IMIM Programme. Culturally, living in 3 European cities was a wonderful experience from which I grew a lot, and sharing this experience with classmates from 19 different countries really made me see the world differently. The content was interesting and definitely relevant for my career. Professionally, I use every day in my job the knowledge I gained during the 2 years of the programme and I keep putting in practice the knowledge gained.

This has been one of the most exciting experiences of my life. It gives high quality education, combined with many other opportunities to learn. We have the chance to meet people from all over the world. Moreover, we meet many different professors in the three universities, who have different teaching approaches.

The main advantage of this master is the fact that you study in 3 different universities of reference and contact with different teaching bodies. Additionally, by living, working, travelling and sharing experiences with such an international class, together we improve our understanding of other cultures.

The studio is generally once a week and the rest of the time you will be working in the classroom and checking your project with the professors. Sometimes they presented foreign cases and the students are asked to travel. Rest of the week is usually lecture classes. Although most of the teachers are Italians they have pretty well English, so, you won’t have any trouble. All things considered, I’m satisfied with this university.

Of course, school will be difficult just because you study engineering. Be ready to feel that sometimes everything is hard and you just want to go home. But don’t, it gets better! The hard part is usually related to homesick and everybody might feel it. Don’t hang out just with people from your own country, try to meet people from different cultures, I’m happy I did.

I think Politecnico de Milano is one of the best technical universities in Europe. My studies in Management Engineering were well structured, the content is completely in English and definitely the educational staff is high quality. In addition to this, I would like to recommend Como Campus. It’s located in a beautiful place with friendly people and a community that involves in the student life.

I think Politecnico di Milano is the biggest university of Italy in terms of imparting engineering and architectural studies. I had amazing professional university staff. They offer tutorials to any student what has aspect to discuss. The books you can find in the library is efficient too. What is more, Milan has many private foundations and city libraries which can be useful for your researches.

I think the tutors want to teach foreign students so they treat us as real Italians. They are strict but in we get really good education because of that. I’ve learned more things than in my home university, totally worth it.

The university has a high range of cultural diversity. It also has an excellent reputation, knowledgeable teachers and good facilities. The city itself is beautiful.

Milan has amazing events during the year such as the fashion week and design week. It’s a city with many students from around the world. There are many great places to visit, and mountains are close too. Politecnico di Milano is a top school, with many courses delivered in English. The university also held a great number of workshops and lectures.

In general, the courses are good. Educational standards are high are at international level. Although, the teaching methods are not always effective. Definitely, the communication is an issue. Examinations don’t have the same pattern, I’ve heard complains of some students. The classes are not pretty interactive, there should discussion groups for each particular topic, instead of the teachers asking us to remember lengthy formulas.
