Postgraduate Certificate in Law Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Studies degrees at Buckingham
-
I loved it. It was great
← | →

I feel that the University of Buckingham delivers a great feel, The town is nature based and makes you focused on your studies. Oxford is not that far to reach and enjoy the nightlife. You will also get frequent transport to reach Milton Keynes, These places are suitable for the student budget. The small size of the university gives a family feeling. The two year degree course feels amazing. The accommodation is good and the staffs are nice. I would love to recommend this university.

This incredible and ambitious programme of study significantly enriched my academic experience and increased my understanding of the role of non-state actors in influencing and managing global change.

I was already an advocate of the High Court of Kenya before coming to Middlesex. My role involved training law enforcement agents in child rights policy and representing child victims of abuse in court. Postgraduate study was always on my radar and because of the broad range of topics available on the course, Middlesex was my first choice. The lecturers were fantastic; they were so knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects that class discussions were always interesting and interactive. I’m now applying the research, writing and presentation skills I learnt to my work. I’m often invited to advise the Kenyan government on child or minority policy. The skills I gained at Middlesex have made me much more versatile in my thinking and application.

So far, all I can say is excellent and I am glad I selected Coventry university. Coventry university is a great plane of learning and I am glad to be part of this great institution. Just a few days ago, we had a career day where top companies came to interact with the students. This is a plus for the careers and development department of Coventry university. More so, I have had the opportunity to get placements with the university's Center for Global Engagement which will help with promoting my career prospects as well as gaining the required international experience. Also, the. University runs a Global Leaders Program, which I am gladly a part of as I have learnt a lot and secured future contacts with top notch executives from global companies. Finally, my course runs a compulsory CMI program, which will push me forward towards my future goals as well as set me up a consultant. Tops to Coventry university. Coventry university is constantly upgrading as we have a well developed engineering building with state of the art equipment and tools which constantly makes life easy for the students. The Frederick Lancaster library, not within and online is always updated with constant materials so that students don't have to go through the stress of surfing the web for materials as we have access to journal sites.

This course allows me to pursue my passion for human rights since one of my biggest dreams is to work for United Nations. While you study there, at the first year you’ve leveled but in the second one you have the option to specialize. Each year you have four modules which are divided into seminaries, lectures and workshops. The teachers that I had are always willing to help because most of them are even barristers or solicitors –if you have any struggles in your course we will be there for you.
