Course programme
Whether you are curious about one, two, three or even more study programmes, choosing the right programme for you will be a lot easier if you experience what it’s really like to be a part of the (virtual) classroom. That’s why it is always a good idea to join a Taster Day or Student for a Day activity.
During a Taster Day, the teaching staff and students will tell you more about the study programme. You can, for example, follow an online lecture with other prospective students, complete an assignment and ask all your questions during a Q&A session.
As a Student for a Day, you make an appointment with a student in the programme, either one-on-one or with a group of prospective students. The student will then take you through the content of the programme, student life, and his or her experiences at VU Amsterdam. You can ask the student anything you want; after all, he or she knows best what the study programme is like.
Check out My Study Choice to see which activities your favourite programmes offer. With a My Study Choice account, you can register for an activity with just a few clicks. Here, you can also save, add and view your favourite study programmes.

The following joint degree programmes offer information activities through the University of Amsterdam (UvA): Archaeology, Ancient Studies and Greek and Latin Language and Culture (in Dutch).
If you are interested in Dentistry, you can register for a Taster Day and/or Student for a Day activity through ACTA.
Would you like to learn more about Liberal Arts and Sciences? You can do that through the Amsterdam University College website.
