Dental Nursing NVQ Level 3

This NVQ qualification is for employed Dental Nurses under the age of 25 working with some responsibility within Dental Surgeries.

The Training Centre runs two programmes for this course, one in Hereford and one in Worcester. Training is one day a month and you will work closely with your assessor who will visit you at your workplace. The NVQ has 14 units, nine mandatory and five optional units. Areas covered include the practical aspects of surgery procedure, dental anatomy, health and safety practice, oral hygiene, patient care, administrative procedures and reception.

As part of the Advanced Apprenticeship framework you will also need to complete Keyskills Communication and Application of Number at Level 2.

The Training Centre also offers the opportunity for dental nurses over the age of 25 to train.
